How Do I Reset a Sub-Zero Ice Maker?
The short answer
Sub-Zero's reset is a plain power cycle: clear any jam, switch the unit off and back on, then give it a full day before judging it.
Check in this order
- Turn the ice maker off at the panel before your hands go near it.
- Lift loose cubes out by hand and free any caught cube, using no knife or pick.
- Press the shut-off arm down firmly without forcing it, and seat the bin level and fully home.
- Switch the whole unit off, then on, and turn the ice maker back on until its indicator shows.
